services are The AA and RAC who both have their own patrols.
There are also many little heard of Pay-and-Claim services. If
there is a problem, you call them and they will send out a local
recovery firm rather than their own branded patrol. You then
pay the patrol and then claim the money back.

Tip: Most breakdown companies have a high
street price and an online price, therefore buying online will help
you save. In addition, when your annual renewal notice comes
through, it is likely to quote the high street price. A quick
call and they will be happy to charge you the lower price.
